We have been part of the World Data Lab network since 2016, contributing our expertise in entrepreneurial thinking and digital product development. Together we build products that translate and transport data models — web tools providing real-time income and demographic projections for individuals anywhere in the world.

The debut platform, population.io, needs no more than a birthdate and a country to place a person within the world population in a matter of seconds. It drew attention and endorsement well beyond the data community.

The second product, the World Poverty Clock, monitors progress towards the first of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: ending extreme poverty for everyone. Funded by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the live-ticking clock was recognised at the annual United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The cross-country network behind World Data Lab unifies experts from very different fields — world-leading economists, government leaders and others. Every global call is a reminder of how unusual that mix is. All of it works towards one mission: making data-driven decision-making a reality for any kind of user.
