Scrum Master (f/m)

What you'll be doing

  • Be responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and enacted
  • Identify and recommend improvements for project management
  • Manage the scrum process across multiple teams
  • Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, and schedule meetings
  • Help product owner keep the product backlogs up to date
  • Be responsible to conduct retrospective meetings
  • Organize and facilitate the sprint planning meeting
  • Act as a safeguard for the team
  • Facilitate the team for improved creativity and efficiency
  • Manage communications with external vendors and partners

Skills & Requirements

  • Work experience in project management or Scrum
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
  • Good skills in coaching a team on how to follow agile Scrum
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
  • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures
  • Understanding of the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Ability to understand the commitment to deliver a product on time
  • Knowledge about the value of metrics and incremental delivery

Nice to have's

  • Knowledge of methodologies other than agile Scrum
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, TDD, continuous testing, automated testing
  • Familiarity of common development practices and service oriented environments
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
